Washington, D.C., Sept. 8, 2026 — The American Coatings Association (»Æ¶¹¶Ì¾ç) has entered into an agreement with Vincentz Network (Vincentz) to expand and enhance its CoatingsTech publication through a new digital-first format. CoatingsTech — which »Æ¶¹¶Ì¾ç had produced as six printed issues annually, with an accompanying biweekly enewsletter, CoatingsTech Direct — will now be produced by Vincentz for »Æ¶¹¶Ì¾ç as an augmented, weekly e-newsletter with accompanying digital platform.

Together, these channels will provide readers with more frequent technical content, industry news, market developments, and access to emerging research throughout the year. The new format significantly increases the frequency of engagement compared with the previous print publication schedule, enabling faster delivery of technical insights and industry developments.

Vincentz is »Æ¶¹¶Ì¾ç’s longstanding partner for the American Coatings Show and Conference and one of the coatings industry’s most established publishing organizations, serving technical and business audiences worldwide.

“This transition enables delivery of content through formats that are more accessible, current, and responsive to industry developments, while continuing to advance the association’s broader mission and strategic priorities on behalf of the coatings industry,â€ said »Æ¶¹¶Ì¾ç’s president and CEO, Michael Johnson. “Readers will benefit from a more timely, accessible, and continuously evolving source of information designed to keep pace with today’s coatings industry. Vincentz brings deep publishing expertise, extensive coatings knowledge, and a longstanding commitment to technical excellence, making them an ideal partner for the next chapter of CoatingsTech.â€

Beginning in October, Vincentz will produce and circulate this weekly publication on behalf of »Æ¶¹¶Ì¾ç, providing full access to the current CoatingsTech reader base. Authors and companies may continue to submit their papers and research for publication consideration. Submission inquiries can be directed to editors@coatings-tech.com.

»Æ¶¹¶Ì¾ç will continue to distribute its CoatingsTech Direct enewsletter through September to minimize any disruption and ensure continued access to trusted content as CoatingsTech readers move to a more timely, accessible, and enhanced experience.

The American Coatings Association (»Æ¶¹¶Ì¾ç) is a voluntary, nonprofit trade association working to advance the needs of the paint and coatings industry and the professionals who work in it, including: manufacturers, raw materials suppliers, distributors, and technical professionals. »Æ¶¹¶Ì¾ç serves as an advocate and ally for members on legislative, regulatory and judicial issues, and provides forums for the advancement and promotion of the industry and coatings science.
